# Guide

## How to add "Hey Low Stock Counter" to your store!

## 1. Step - Text & Formatting 

In the first step, you will set up the low stock counter format. 

### Set up Low Stock Counter 

You can edit color, size, and emoji.

* **Emoji:** You can choose some emoji to show in front of the number and text. If you don't prefer emojis, it's okay. You can click on empty. 
* **Number Color:** You can choose any color from the color pallet to display the stock number or you can write your custom color code. 
* **Number Size:** You can adjust the size of the number. It is up to you to decide on how big or small you want to show the number. 
* **Text:** Write your own word to create a sense of urgency. For instance, you can write "Only X remaining in stock" or "X left in stock". 
* **Text Color:** Decide the color of the low-stock text. You can choose any color from the color pallet to display the stock number or you can write your custom color code.
* **Text Size:** You can adjust the size of the text. It is up to you to decide on how big or small you want to show the text. Data

You can see all changes you made in the preview section while setting up the low stock  counter.

Don't forget to click the save button on top after you complete all the changes.

## 2. Step - Settings

In the settings section, you will be able to make more customization. 

* **Display widgets on :**  Low Stock and Sales Counter widgets can display on all products,  selected products, or collections. You can choose it as you wish.  

## 3. Step - Publishing

In the final step, you will publish the app in your store based on your previous inputs and this step only needs to be done once.

### Publishing for Online 2.0 Themes &#x20;

*If your is Online 2.0, you need to follow the steps below:*

There are two options for Online 2.0 Stores. However, please only go with one. Otherwise, the widget might be duplicated on your store.&#x20;

#### Option A via "Add Block" for Online 2.0 Themes&#x20;

* Click "Theme Editor" inside the app.
* Go to the "Default Product" page.
* On the left side navigation, click the "Add block" in the "Product information" section.
* Choose "Hey Low Stock Counter", then drag and drop wherever you want.
* Don't forget to click "Save" in the theme editor.

#### Option B via "App Embeds" for Online 2.0 Themes &#x20;

* Click "Theme Editor" inside the app.
* Click on the app embeds icon on the left.
* Enable the app by switching the button.
* Our app should automatically appear above the add to cart button.
* Don't forget to click "Save" in the theme editor.

### Publishing for non-Online 2.0 Themes&#x20;

*If your is  not Online 2.0, you need to follow the steps below:*

* Click the "Theme Editor" inside the app.
* Then click on the  "App Embeds" icon on the left.&#x20;
* Enable the app by switching the button.
* Our app should automatically appear above the add to cart button.
* Don't forget to "Save" in the theme editor.
