How to add Hey! Sales and Low Stock Counter to your store!

Step 1 - Set up Low Stock Counter

In the first step, you will set up the low stock counter format and data.

Formating

You can edit color, size, and emoji.
  • Emoji: You can choose some emoji to show in front of the number and text. If you don't prefer emojis, it's okay. You can click on empty.
  • Number Color: You can choose any color from the color pallet to display the stock number or you can write your custom color code.
  • Number Size: You can adjust the size of the number. It is up to you to decide on how big or small you want to show the number.
  • Text: Write your own word to create a sense of urgency. For instance, you can write "Only X remaining in stock" or "X left in stock".
  • Text Color: Decide the color of the low stock text. You can choose any color from the color pallet to display the stock number or you can write your custom color code.
  • Text Size: You can adjust the size of the text. It is up to you to decide on how big or small you want to show the text.

Data

To show stock data, you can either use the real data or you can generate it.
  • Real Data: When you want to use real, just click on the "Use real stock data" option. You might want to show your real data if it's less than a certain amount. In that case, you should mention that number.
  • Generate Data: When you want to generate stock data, just click on the "Generate stock data between" option. Then you can generate data between any number you decide.
You can see all changes you made in the preview section while setting up the low stock counter.
Don't forget to click the save button on top after you complete all the changes.

Step 2 - Set up Sales Counter

In this step, you can set up the format and date for the Sales Counter.

Formating

Add emoji, edit number, and text color&size for sales counter.
  • Emoji: You can choose some emoji to show in front of the number and text. If you don't prefer emojis, it's okay. You can click on empty.
  • Number Color: You can choose any color from the color pallet to display the sales number or you can write your custom color code.
  • Number Size: You can adjust the size of the number. It is up to you to decide on how big or small you want to show the number.
  • Text: Write your own word to provide social proof. For instance, you can write "sold" or "people bought ". The number comes in front of the text.
  • Text Color: Decide the color of the sales counter text. You can choose any color from the color pallet to display the stock number or you can write your custom color code.
  • Text Size: You can adjust the size of the text. It is up to you to decide on how big or small you want to show the text.

Data

To show sales data, you can either use the real data or you can generate it.
  • Generate Data: When you want to generate sales data, just click on the "Generate sales data between" option. Then you can generate data between any number you decide.
You can see all changes you made in the preview section while setting up the low stock counter.
Don't forget to click the save button on top after you complete all the changes.

Step 3 - Settings

In the settings section, you will be able to make more customization.
  • Display widgets on: Low Stock and Sales Counter widgets can display on all products or selected products. You can choose as you wish.
  • Display for: The count would be done according to the selection here. Let's say S size has 8 in stock, M size has 2 in stock. If "Display For Variant" is chosen, then when a user clicks S size, 8 in stock appears there. If "Display For Product" is chosen, then whatever a user clicks, 10 in stock appears there because the app counts the total stock number of the product regardless of variants.
You can automatically decrease stock and increase sales number by 1 unit by any second you decide. Just need to click this button and write to time in second.
For example; you decided to decrease stock and increase sales by 1 unit every 600 seconds. When your customers spend more than 600 seconds on the page they will see the changes in stock and sales data numbers. This feature makes counters more real.
  • Besides, you can stop decreasing the stock when the remaining stock is any number you decide.
HeyMerch Stock & Sales Counter works for " Online Store 2.0" too.
If your store is 2.0, you need to follow the steps below:
  1. 1.
    Go to one of the product pages
  2. 2.
    On the left side navigation, click the "Add block" in the "Product information" section
  3. 3.
    Please choose HeyMerch Counter, then drag and drop wherever you want.

Step 4 - Publish

In the final step, you will publish the app in your store based on your previous inputs. You just need to finish this step once. When the app is enabled in your store, you can change formattings, settings and display the counter as you set.
If your store is a vintage theme, not "Online Store 2.0", then please follow the steps below:

    Go to the theme editor
  2. 2.
    On the right side navigation , turn on "HeyMerch Counter".
Turn on the app here for a vintage theme
HeyMerch Stock & Sales Counter works for " Online Store 2.0" too.
If your store is Online Store 2.0, you need to follow the steps below:
  1. 1.
    Go to the default product page
  2. 2.
    On the left side navigation, click the "Add block" in the "Product information" section
  3. 3.
    Please choose HeyMerch Counter, then drag and drop wherever you want.
Please do not forget to drag and drop a place where you would like to display the widget.
